Excavators used cat 320c manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize the Cat 3066 T diesel engine performance, ensuring it meets the standard 138 hp (103 kW) output. Critical inspection points include the hydraulic system pressure (standard 34.3 MPa), the condition of the main pump, and the undercarriage wear percentage. Ensure the operating weight is approximately 21,000 kg to confirm it is a genuine 320C model and not a smaller frame mislabeled.

Evaluate the total operating hours displayed on the hour meter, but cross-reference this with the wear on foot pedals, joysticks, and track links to detect tampering. A well-maintained Cat 320C can last over 15,000 to 20,000 hours. Request oil analysis reports for the engine and hydraulics to check for metal shavings, which indicate internal component fatigue.

Ensure the machine has a clear Product Identification Number (PIN) plate. For specific markets, verify EPA Tier 2 or equivalent emission standards compliance. You must obtain the Original Certificate of Conformity, a Bill of Sale, and maintenance logs. If sourcing via Made-in-China.com, look for suppliers providing SGS or TÜV Rheinland inspection reports to validate the machine's condition.

The Cat 320C is a versatile 'workhorse' ideal for general construction, trenching, and heavy lifting. Ensure the unit is equipped with a quick coupler to support various attachments like hydraulic hammers, shears, or 0.9 m³ buckets. Check if the auxiliary hydraulic piping is already installed, as retrofitting this for specialized attachments can be costly.

Avoid deals that seem too good to be true (e.g., prices 40% below market average). Request a live video inspection of the machine starting from a 'cold engine' state to check for smoke color—blue or black smoke indicates engine trouble. Use third-party inspection services to verify that the hydraulic pumps and valves are original Caterpillar parts rather than low-quality aftermarket replacements.

Negotiate based on the cost of wear-and-tear items. If the track pads or sprockets are worn beyond 50%, use this as leverage to reduce the price or demand replacement with new OEM-equivalent parts before shipping. Always ask for a package deal if purchasing multiple units, and clarify that the final payment is contingent upon the loading photos and container sealing report.

For a Cat 320C, Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) shipping is safest, but 40ft Flat Rack containers are common for cost-saving. Ensure the supplier performs professional anti-corrosion treatment (waxing) before sea transport to prevent salt air damage. Confirm the Incoterms (preferably CIF or CFR) and ensure the supplier provides marine insurance covering the full value of the used equipment.

Utilize secure payment systems provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are held or tracked safely. Never wire full payments to personal bank accounts. Use Letters of Credit (L/C) for multi-unit orders or Escrow-style services where the balance is released only after the Bill of Lading (B/L) is verified.
