Hair oil applicator comb manufacturers

When sourcing these devices, prioritize medical-grade silicone or stainless steel discharge teeth to prevent scalp irritation and ensure corrosion resistance against essential oils. The tank capacity typically ranges from 5ml to 30ml; for B2B buyers, a 10-15ml capacity is the 'sweet spot' for portability and single-use efficiency. Ensure the device features a leak-proof sealing ring and a precise scale display on the reservoir to allow users to monitor dosage accurately.

The core technology lies in the rolling ball-tip discharge system. High-quality applicators use elastic press-to-discharge mechanisms that only release liquid when in contact with the scalp, preventing wastage. You should request samples to test the flow consistency; the oil should distribute evenly without clogging. For electric versions, verify vibration frequency (typically 8,000-12,000 rpm) and EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) levels if marketed as a scalp massager.

Since the product contacts the skin, it must meet FDA (US) or REACH (EU) standards for plastic and silicone components to ensure they are BPA-free and non-toxic. For electric models, CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications are mandatory. If the product includes a lithium battery, ensure the supplier provides a UN38.3 test report and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for air and sea freight compliance.

This product is highly effective for hair loss treatments (Minoxidil application), scalp nourishment (essential oils), and medicated scalp solutions. Primary target markets include specialty hair salons, wellness spas, and e-commerce retailers focusing on personal care. Its portability makes it ideal for travel-sized grooming kits and home-use therapeutic routines.

Leakage is the #1 complaint for this category. Require the supplier to perform a vacuum leak test during the Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Ensure the outer packaging includes custom-fit EVA foam or blister trays to prevent the discharge teeth from being compressed during stacking in the shipping container.

Focus on MOQ flexibility for customized colors (Pantone matching) and logo printing (silk screen vs. laser engraving). Ask for a tiered pricing structure where the unit price drops by 15-20% when moving from 500 to 2,000 units. Additionally, negotiate for a 1-2% spare parts allowance (extra silicone caps or tanks) to cover potential defective items in retail sets.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by the platform to ensure your funds are only released after you confirm receipt and quality. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts. For large orders, consider a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a third-party quality inspection (like SGS or Intertek) confirms the goods meet your specifications.

If the applicator is electric, it is classified as 'DG' (Dangerous Goods) Light due to the battery. Work with a freight forwarder experienced in Battery Shipping to avoid customs seizures. Ensure the outer cartons carry the Lithium Battery Warning Label and that the H.S. Code (typically 9615.11 for plastic combs or 8543.70 for electric massagers) is declared accurately to avoid tariff penalties.
