Private-label-vitamin-gummies manufacturers

When sourcing health supplements, you must prioritize suppliers with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ISO 22000 certifications to ensure food safety. For the US market, verify that the facility is FDA-registered. If you are targeting specific niches, look for Halaal, Kosher, or USDA Organic certifications to increase marketability.

Request stability testing reports from the manufacturer to confirm that the active ingredients (vitamins/minerals) remain potent until the expiration date. Ensure the supplier uses high-quality pectin or gelatin and appropriate moisture-barrier packaging (such as induction-sealed bottles) to prevent melting or clumping during transit and storage.

Beyond the formulation (sugar-free, vegan, or specific vitamin blends), you should evaluate their ability to customize shapes, colors, and flavors. Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide label design services and can offer various bottle materials like PET or HDPE with child-resistant caps.

For standard 'off-the-shelf' formulas with your label, MOQs can be as low as 500–1,000 bottles. However, for fully custom formulations (unique ingredient ratios), suppliers typically require 3,000–5,000 bottles to cover the costs of machine calibration and ingredient sourcing.

Supplements are heavily regulated. You must ensure the Certificate of Analysis (COA) and Ingredient List comply with the destination country's health authority (e.g., EFSA in Europe). Always confirm that no prohibited substances are included in the blend to avoid shipment seizure at customs.

Use secure payment terms and consider third-party inspection services before the final balance is paid. On Made-in-China.com, look for Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site verification by independent bodies like SGS or TÜV Rheinland to mitigate the risk of fraud.

Vitamin gummies are sensitive to heat. For cross-border shipping, especially through tropical regions, it is highly recommended to use temperature-controlled containers (Reefer containers) or avoid shipping during peak summer months. Ensure the outer cartons are double-walled to prevent crushing.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers. Ask for a breakdown of costs between the formula, packaging, and labeling. You can often reduce the unit price by 10-15% by committing to a larger annual volume while scheduling shipments in smaller monthly batches.
