Wholesale pine pollen powder manufacturers

The most critical factor is the cell-wall breaking rate, which should ideally be above 98% to ensure human absorption of nutrients. Additionally, look for a fine mesh size (typically 200-300 mesh) and a natural pale yellow color without dark impurities, which indicates freshness and proper processing.

As a health supplement/food ingredient, suppliers must provide ISO 22000 or HACCP for food safety management. For specific markets, FDA registration is required for the US, and EU Novel Food authorization may be necessary for Europe. Always request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch to verify heavy metal and microbial limits.

Ensure the product is 100% pure Pinus massoniana or Pinus tabulaeformis pollen with no added fillers, maltodextrin, or artificial colors. Requesting a third-party lab test (SGS or Eurofins) to check for pesticide residues and protein content is the best way to validate purity before placing a bulk order.

Pine pollen is highly sensitive to moisture and oxidation. It should be packed in double-layer food-grade PE bags inside fiber drums or vacuum-sealed aluminum foil bags. Suppliers should guarantee storage in a cool, dry, and dark environment to maintain the bioactivity of the enzymes and vitamins.

Utilize Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services and prioritize Audited Suppliers. Always order a pre-production sample and cross-reference its DNA or nutrient profile with the final bulk shipment. Consider hiring a third-party inspection agency to perform a loading supervision at the factory.

Negotiate based on annual volume rather than single orders to secure a lower unit price. Ask for tiered pricing (e.g., 500kg vs. 2 tons) and request the supplier to include customized labeling or private labeling (OEM) services within the bulk price to increase your retail margin.

Pine pollen may be classified under HS Code 121299. Ensure the supplier provides a Phytosanitary Certificate to avoid customs delays. For large orders, Sea Freight (FOB or CIF) is most cost-effective, but ensure the containers are kept away from heat sources during transit.

Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Use Escrow-based payment systems or Letters of Credit (L/C) for large transactions. Ensure the Sales Contract clearly defines the specifications for cell-wall breakage and moisture content, with specific clauses for refunds if the lab results do not match the agreed standards.
