Induction cooker board manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize the IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) brand and quality, as it is the core component; brands like Infineon or Fairchild are industry standards. Additionally, verify the PCB thickness (typically 1.6mm), the coil material (pure copper is superior to copper-clad aluminum) for thermal efficiency, and the microcontroller (MCU) stability to ensure precise temperature control.

For global markets, the boards must adhere to CE (EMC/LVD) for Europe, UL for the United States, and RoHS for hazardous substance restriction. Specifically for induction heating, ensure compliance with IEC 60335-2-9 for safety and CISPR 14 for electromagnetic interference to prevent disruption to other household electronics.

Request data on heat sink dimensions and material (aluminum 6063 is preferred). The board should feature over-temperature protection (NTC thermistors) and voltage surge protection (varistors). A high-quality board should pass a high-temperature aging test (typically 4-8 hours at full load) before leaving the factory to ensure long-term reliability.

A professional supplier should offer layout design (Gerber files), firmware programming, and UI/Touch panel integration. Ensure they can adjust the power range (e.g., 200W to 3500W) and support various heating diameters to match your specific housing design and target market requirements.

Implement a strict sampling plan (AQL 1.5/4.0) and hire a third-party inspection agency to perform functional testing on-site. For PCBA, request a Video Inspection of the Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) process and ensure the supplier uses anti-static packaging (ESD bags) to prevent damage during transit.

Focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate based on component transparency (BOM list) to understand where costs are allocated. For long-term partnerships, request price protection clauses against fluctuations in raw material costs (like copper) and ask for 2-5% spare units to cover potential DOA (Dead on Arrival) instances.

Induction boards are sensitive to moisture and physical shock. Ensure the use of heavy-duty corrugated boxes with desiccant packets. When shipping to specific regions, clarify Incoterms (FOB is recommended for better freight control) and verify if the supplier is registered on Made-in-China.com to utilize Secured Trading Services for payment protection.

Always use Letter of Credit (L/C) for large volumes or Escrow-based payment systems provided by reputable platforms. Avoid transferring funds to private bank accounts; ensure the beneficiary name matches the company name on the business license and the Made-in-China.com verified supplier profile.
