Life size statues manufacturers

For outdoor durability, prioritize Bronze (with a minimum 3mm thickness) or 304/316 Stainless Steel to prevent corrosion. If opting for fiberglass (FRP), ensure it has an automotive-grade UV-resistant coating to prevent fading and cracking. For stone, natural marble or granite is preferred over cast stone for longevity in freeze-thaw cycles.

Request a 1:1 scale clay mold for approval before the final casting or carving begins. Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com should provide 360-degree high-definition videos and photos of the clay model. This is the critical stage to request adjustments to facial expressions, proportions, and posture.

Ensure the statue includes internal steel reinforcements (armatures) and pre-welded mounting plates or anchor bolts. For heavy bronze or stone pieces, request a structural stability report to ensure the center of gravity is calculated correctly to prevent tipping in high-wind areas.

Verify that the materials used, especially paints and resins, are REACH or RoHS compliant to ensure they are free from lead and hazardous chemicals. For wooden statues, ensure a Fumigation Certificate is provided to meet international phytosanitary requirements.

Insist on IPPC-certified solid wood crates with internal shock-absorbing foam and soft wrapping. For fragile materials like marble or fiberglass, the crate should have a reinforced steel frame or 'skeleton' to prevent crushing during container stacking.

Negotiate a staged payment plan: typically 30% deposit, 40% after clay mold approval, and 30% after final product inspection but before shipping. Clarify the copyright ownership in the contract to ensure you have the rights to reproduce or market the design.

Utilize third-party inspection services (like V-Trust or SGS) to conduct a pre-shipment inspection. On Made-in-China.com, look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have undergone verified on-site factory checks to ensure they have the actual studio capacity to produce fine art.

Due to the volume and weight, LCL (Less than Container Load) or FCL (Full Container Load) sea freight is the only viable option. Ensure the Incoterms are clearly defined as CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) to include marine insurance, which is vital for high-value art pieces.
