Shampoo sachet manufacturers

When sourcing shampoo sachets, you must prioritize film barrier properties to prevent leakage and fragrance loss. Ensure the packaging uses multi-layer laminates (e.g., PET/AL/PE or PET/VMPET/PE) for high moisture and oxygen resistance. The sealing strength should be tested to withstand pressure during transit, and the easy-tear notch must be precision-cut to ensure user convenience without compromising the seal integrity.

Suppliers must provide MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for shipping and safety handling. For the liquid content, look for GMPC (Good Manufacturing Practice Cosmetics) and ISO 22716:2007 certifications. If exporting to the EU, products must comply with EC No. 1223/2009, and for the US, FDA registration and ingredient labeling according to INCI (International Nomenclature Cosmetic Ingredient) standards are required.

Request stability testing reports from the manufacturer, which simulate aging under various temperature and humidity conditions. The typical shelf life for shampoo sachets should be 24 to 36 months. Ensure the supplier uses preservative systems that are compliant with the destination country's regulations (e.g., avoiding prohibited parabens or methylisothiazolinone where restricted).

Professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer gravure printing for high-fidelity branding, supporting up to 10 colors. You can customize the sachet volume (typically 5ml to 20ml), shape (rectangular, round, or die-cut bottle shapes), and formulation (e.g., sulfate-free, organic, or 2-in-1 formulas) to align with your brand positioning.

The main risk is leakage due to air pressure changes during air freight or rough handling in sea freight. To mitigate this, require the supplier to perform a vacuum leak test on samples from every batch. Additionally, ensure the outer export cartons are double-walled (5-layer corrugated) and reinforced with plastic palletization to prevent crushing.

For customized printing, the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is often dictated by the film printing run, usually starting at 50,000 to 100,000 pieces. Negotiate a staggered delivery schedule if you have storage constraints. For lead times, allow 15-25 days for production after artwork approval, and always factor in an additional 7 days for third-party quality inspections before final payment.

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure payment is only released upon confirmation of shipment. For first-time orders, it is highly recommended to appoint a third-party inspector (like SGS or Intertek) to conduct a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify quantity, packaging, and liquid pH levels.

Yes, check the HS Code (typically 3305.10) for your specific country to determine import duties. Be aware of Anti-Dumping duties that may apply in certain regions. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin (CO), which can help you benefit from Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and significantly reduce import tariffs.
